Banana Oat Meal Cookies Recipe with Delicious Chocolate Chips and also Walnuts.

How can baking biscuits ever be quick? You usually have to find a scale, carefully measure all the components, caress the dough to ages, then cut out small cookies in to heart, star and moon shapes then wait a second century'til they are baked.

NEVER EVER could I bake cookies under these conditions. That is just how I roll. But then I came across these Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies (that is what I call them, anyway.)

Okay, they do not taste exactly like the biscuits you get round Christmas time. Instead they are a little more gooey and do not crumble in any way.

But what mostly convinced me was that you could have them ready in 25 minutes such as the baking time! No shit.

Probably the most surprising thing about the cookies is that they call for only 2 ingredients! Yep that's correct, and anybody can blend two components.

Though if you want to make them tastier and/or healthier you can pimp them up using a few add ons such as peppers, walnuts or cinnamon. That's up to you!

It seems increasingly like a sales pitch (it is not -- nobody is gonna pay me should you consume them), but I have to say one more amazing thing about those cookies.

They are tasty! Yep, after I'd had the first I finished the rest within an hour.

They are fantastic for hiking trips or other occasions where you want a quick pleasant bite on the move. Now I keep these as a fast bite in my back pack.

It must also be mentioned that they're vegan. No eggs, no milk, no none of the regular cookie supposes. Simply oats and bananas.

Take oats for example. Not only do they reduce your cholesterol levels which consequently helps you prevent developing heart disease or diabetes, but they also energize you with good carbohydrates and nutrients to keep you going for more during the day.

Those nutrients comprise manganese, great for bone creation and skin ethics in addition to magnesium -- important for energy production to allow you to feel more awake

Same with peanuts -- the favorite fruit among athletes -- not just cause they contain a decent quantity of good carbs but for being the big vegan cookies players at the potassium game.

Potassium is a really important nutrient for avoiding fatigue and muscular cramps. Pretty good if you've got a hard day ahead of you.

Since you can see, I am a big fan.

Here is an illustration of if I could have done with a couple of these cookies. Sadly, I didn't have them with me.

Have you ever been trapped somewhere in character and thought"damn I'm in trouble!" ? If so, where? Just combine peas and peas and then bake them for 15 minutes. Ideal for when you need a power boost on the move. Enjoy!

Directions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F)

Get a bowl and mash the carrots until they're mushy

Add the cup of yogurt and any of the optional ingredients

Stir until everything is nicely mixed

Put baking paper onto the menu so that the cookies don't adhere. If you don't have this make sure to wash the baking tray with butter (or olive oil if you are vegetarian )

To produce the cookie shape simply grab a spoon and scoop an adequate amount from the mix onto the baking tray like I did at the photo above. It is super quick and effortless.

Away it goes into the oven for around 15 - 20 minutes.

Done!
